Customer portal

Your customers place their own orders, under your logo.

In the customer portal, shippers submit their own orders, through a form with your fields or as a file, and follow every order. You receive them in Chainfill, checked, next to your other orders.

The problem

Orders that arrive however the customer likes.

  1. 01

Every customer sends orders their own way: an email, a spreadsheet, a PDF or a phone call.

  2. 02

Customers call or email to ask whether their order has arrived.

  3. 03

Having your own portal built takes months, and it sits apart from your order entry.

From your customer to your TMS, in one line

The portal is a way into Chainfill. An order from the portal goes through the same checks as every other order.

How it works

How to switch on the customer portal.

  1. Switch on the portal

In Settings you switch on the customer portal, with your own logo and your own sign-in link.

  2. Build the order form

The form uses the fields you already have in Chainfill. You choose what your customer sees and fills in.

  3. Invite your customers

Invite one customer or many at once, with a personal line. Customers create a login or sign in with Microsoft.

  4. Orders arrive

A form order arrives field by field and needs no reading. A file is read by Chainfill like any other order.
